<p>The driver of an SUV drove into the front of a Whiteland diner Monday morning. </p><p>An elderly woman was parking her SUV in front of Friends Diner, located in a strip mall just south of Tracy Road in Whiteland, when her brakes failed, she told police. She did not stop and crashed into the front door and windows of the popular eatery, said Corp. Tyler Croy with the Whiteland Police Department.</p><p>No one was injured in the crash, which occurred about 10:45 a.m. Customers and employees were inside the building at the time, but no one was near the diner’s front windows, so there were no injuries, Croy said.</p><p>The restaurant suffered significant damage to its front door and window panes, but there was very little damage to the vehicle. </p>
