WHITELAND
Betty Sue Knotts, 85, passed away Thursday morning, Nov. 3, 2016, at her residence in Whiteland.
She was born on July 29, 1931, in Flat Rock, Kentucky to the late Jacob and Geneva (Grider) Johnson. She married James D. Knotts on Oct. 29, 1954, who preceded her in passing in 1993.
Betty is survived by one son, Gregory Carl (Tammy) Knotts of Whiteland; and two grandsons, Chad and Tyler Knotts.
She attended school at Washington High School.
She was employed by Clark-Pleasant School Corporation as a cook for 28 years, retiring in 1993.
She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her dogs.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be at 11:45 a.m. Saturday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
