To the editor:
I confess that on Nov. 8 I voted a straight Republican ticket with considerable misgiving.
The morning of Nov. 9 I was amazed — and gratified — that somehow the nation’s unwillingness to bear another four years of misguided liberal, progressive governance seemingly trumped (no pun intended) the obvious character flaws of President-elect Donald Trump.
However, most important to me personally was the unexpected blessing of elected federal executive and legislative branches that hopefully will support federal judiciary appointments willing to at least blunt the murderous assault on innocent human life — a.k.a. abortion on demand.
