More than $1,000 in tools stolen

More than $1,000 in tools was stolen from a barn in Franklin, police said.

A resident reported the theft in the 1900 block of North Graham Road just before 6 p.m. Monday.

The padlock had been busted off the barn, where tools and tractors were stored. Nail guns and drills were stolen, according to the Franklin Police Department report.

Security cameras are being added to the barn, and police are investigating the theft, the report said.
