A man has been arrested in the murder of a Center Grove area man earlier this month.
Joseph Evan Avart, 37, Plainfield, was arrested on a charge of murder in the death of Andrew Perry.
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate. A news conference is scheduled for Monday.
Perry was found dead in his home in Stone Village on Dec. 2.
An autopsy later showed he died of blunt force trauma and the death was a homicide.
