FRANKLIN
Janice Ann (Cummings) Bay, 39, passed away early Friday morning, October 27th in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Franklin.
Janice was born on February 23, 1978 in Franklin, the daughter of James E. Cummings and Jennifer Kay (Smith) Cummings Cromer. On August 6th, 2005, she married Kevin Michael Bay who lovingly survives. She is also survived by three children, Rylie Mayo, Kennedy Bay and Nathan Bay, all of Franklin; mother and step-father, Jennifer Kay Cromer of Franklin and Rick Cromer of Indianapolis ; brothers and sisters, James E. (Julie) Cummings, II of Franklin; Jena (Kurt) Martin of Greenwood; Jessica Cummings of Franklin; Crystal Cromer (Glen) Jennett of Fairland and Dustin Cromer of Indianapolis. Also surviving is maternal grandmother, Margaret Smith of Franklin.
She was preceded in passing by paternal grandparents, William Paul and Mary Cummings; maternal grandfather, Charles A. Smith and her father, James E. Cummings.
Janice was a 1996 graduate of Franklin Community High School.
Janice cherished being a stay-at-home Mom and also enjoyed being a Substitute Teacher.
Rev. Matt Giebler will conduct a celebration of Janice’s life on Thursday, November 2nd, at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Christian Church, 1720 North Graham Road, Franklin, Indiana 46131. Visitation for Family and Friends will be on Wednesday, November 1st from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Burial will be at First Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Franklin.
