Johnson County Museum of History presents Storyteller Series

A genealogist from Indiana’s biggest cemetery will help tell the story of the founding of the American Red Cross.

People of all ages are invited to see Nikki Schofield portray Clara Barton at the Johnson County Museum of History, 135 N. Main St., Franklin at 1:30 p.m. April 25.

Schofield is the genealogist at Crown Hill Cemetery, as she discusses Clara Barton’s role in the founding of the American Red Cross.

The event is free and open to the public. This event is co-sponsored by the Johnson County Public Library and the Johnson County Museum of History.

Representatives from the museum and library try to plan topical characters they can bring to the county to give residents a chance to hear a story in a different way. County residents have also had the chance to hear about a general in World War I and see a storyteller portray Daniel Boone.
