WHITELAND
John William Cox, ll of Whiteland passed away on December 17, 2018. John was born on November 23, 1962 to John Wm. Cox, Sr and Dora Shipp Cox both who precede him in death.
John was a Master Welder for 24 years for L & E Engineering in Greenwood, IN. John was an avid fisherman and loved hunting, kayaking, canoeing, and riding his motorcycle. John also was a kindhearted person who enjoyed helping anyone that he could. He dearly loved all of his children and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Andrea Fisher, he is also survived by his children; Melody Schulz (Brent) of Indianapolis, Brandii Cox (Jeremy DePrez) of Indianapolis, Michael, Matthew and Andrew Fisher all of Whiteland. A sister, Mary Cox of Indianapolis; Three brothers; David Cox (Jodi Miller) of Franklin, Roger and Brian Cox of Indianapolis. Eight grandchildren: Zuri and William Schulz, Justice and Journii DePrez, Jonathan Latham and Mason, Gannon, and Marleigh Fisher. He is also survived by several of his adopted Woodall family members that he was close to.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel. A service will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
