Barbara “Chris” Parker, 83 of Nineveh, Indiana passed away March 26, 2021 at Homeview Center of Franklin. She was born May 31, 1937 in Edinburgh, Indiana. She was the daughter of Jesse F. and Treva A. (Parker) Clanin. She married Robert “Bob” Parker on September 17, 1971 and he survives. She is also survived by her son, Mike (Tasha) Kelley of Springfield, Missouri, daughters, April (Brian) Wagner of Roseburg, Oregon and Lisa (Tim) Reed of Rocklin, California, grandchildren, Jennifer (Adam) Allen, Andrew (Shelby) Kelley, Jeremy (Mercedes) Harshaw, Aaron (Rylan) Reed, Dana Reed, Matthew Kelley, Mason Wagner, and Kathleen Kelley, five great-grandchildren, and sister, Sondra (George) Aldrich of Danville, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Chris was a 1955 graduate of Anderson High School. She was a member of the Edinburgh United Methodist Church, Corvair and Studebaker Clubs, and Red Hat Society. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, collecting Longaberger Baskets, and was very patriotic. Chris lived 35 years on Cordry Sweetwater Lake and never got in the water.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted by Reverend Tom True at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 4:00 PM until time of service.
