Marilyn (McMillin) Colin, 89 passed away on April 21, 2022 at her residence in Greenwood, Indiana. She was a former longtime resident of Franklin.

She was born on November 5, 1932 in Franklin, Indiana to Harry and Louise (Smith) McMillin. She married Robert Louis Colin on July 21, 1951. He preceded her in passing on March 15, 2021. She is survived by their loving children, Cathy (Steve) Broniszewski of Franklin; Vicki (Jim) Robinson of Port Charlotte, Florida; Diane (Dan) Moore of Sellersburg; Bob (Luann) Colin of Bargersville and Terri (Rick) Ransdell of Nineveh. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Bob; infant sister, Barbara; sister, Carolyn Harper; brother, Dick McMillin.

Marilyn graduated from Franklin High School where she played on the basketball team.

Marilyn worked various jobs over the years, but raising her family was the most rewarding.

In her early years of family life, she enjoyed playing softball, square dancing at the Johnson County Fair with her husband, Bob and in her later years, she enjoyed drawing and painting.

Father Tim DeCrane will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, April 27 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 114 Lancelot Drive, Franklin, Indiana with visitation on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to time of funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Indianapolis. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Flinn and Maguire’s Facebook page.

The family would like to thank her caregivers at Greenwood Village South, her companion caregiver, and her medical team.
