Arnold Howard “Bud” Breeden, 85 of Mooresville, IN passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born February 1, 1938, in Indianapolis, IN to Charles Arnold Breeden and Margaret Louise (O’Donnell) Breeden.
Bud married Betty Sue (Hudson) Breeden on September 22, 1985, in Indianapolis, IN; she preceded him in death on November 25, 2013.
He was a 1956 graduate of Southport High School.
Bud was a United States Army National Guard veteran.
He owned and operated Dyetching Company in Indianapolis.
Bud was a member of the Southport Masonic Lodge #270, Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, Greenwood American Legion Post 252 and the American Legion Atkins Post 355 in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his daughter Marti Dunlap (John) of Mooresville, IN, his son Brent Breeden of Bloomfield, IN, three grandchildren Brian Breeden of Greenwood, IN, Dustin Dunlap of Mooresville, IN and Logan Dunlap of Mooresville, IN, five nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and son Brad Breeden on August 27, 2006.
Pastor Kevin Whitaker will conduct a service on Thursday May 18, 2023, at 2PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 South (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com. Friends may call Thursday May 18, 2023, from 12 Noon until service time at the mortuary. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood with military honors by Franklin American Legion Post 205 Honor Guard.
