Letter: Was omission of veteran’s party a sign of bias?

Letter to the editor:

On Page A4 of the Daily Journal on Nov. 15, there was an editorial about a Navy Seal who was injured in Afghanistan and who now has been elected to the U. S. House of Representatives.

It is a wonderful article about a fine patriotic American for whom we all owe a debt of gratitude. The same with all of our military.

The entire editorial was void of his political affiliation and I wonder if that omission was intentional since he is a Republican.

I can’t help but think that if he was a Democrat his political affiliation would have been a big part of this article.

Journalism has become an extension of liberal politics and that is a terrible shame and injustice to all the people of our great nation.

God bless America.

David M.
