Jackson-Davis to play in McDonald’s game

<p>Trayce Jackson-Davis added to his already impressive basketball résumé on Thursday when he was one of 24 boys nationwide chosen to play in the prestigious McDonald’s All-American Game.</p><p>The Center Grove senior is the first Johnson County player ever selected for the game.</p><p>Jackson-Davis, a 6-foot-9 forward who is widely considered the front-runner for Indiana Mr. Basketball, will play on the East team during the game, which will be played March 27 in Atlanta and broadcast on ESPN2.</p><p>The honor is the latest on a growing stack for Jackson-Davis, who was named an Indiana Junior All-Star last season and won a gold medal with Team USA over the summer at the FIBA U18 Americas Championship in St. Catharine’s, Ontario.</p><p>Rated among the nation’s top 20 senior prospects by all of the top recruiting analysts, Jackson-Davis will play at Indiana University next season.</p><p>He currently has the Trojans (12-4) ranked eighth in Class 4A. </p>
