A portion of our property taxes goes to township government. How are townships using our tax dollars for assistance, cemetery maintenance and weed control? Find out at the annual report meeting. Every township is required to hold a board meeting on or before the third Tuesday in February to review their annual report.
The White River Township Board will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. at the trustee’s office at 2929 S. Morgantown Road. Citizens are encouraged to attend and bring questions and concerns.
Government at the local level is our government using our tax dollars. If you don’t live in White River Township, call your trustee’s office to get details about your annual report meeting. And please attend.
