<p>Franklin College</p><p><strong>Bain named new softball coach</strong></p><p>Angela Bain, formerly an assistant at Butler, was formally introduced as the new Franklin College softball coach on Friday. Bain had previously played at Valparaiso University, helping the Crusaders win Horizon League tournament titles in 2012 and 2013.</p><p>Volleyball</p><p><strong>Cougars get past Waldron</strong></p><p>Greenwood Christian rode 22 kills from Izzy Reed and seven blocks from Mayah Schundelmier to a 25-21, 23-25, 25-22, 25-15 victory over Waldron late Thursday night.</p>
