Boys tennis

Warriors sweep Braves

Whiteland defeated county rival Indian Creek on Tuesday, 5-0, taking all five matches in straight sets. Quinten Gillespie, Ty McCullars and Dylan Gross took the three singles points for the Warriors (17-1), Ariss Mardanzai and Christian Felker were victorious at first doubles and the team of Travis Robinson and Josh Pitts won in the second spot.

Trojans edge Panthers

Center Grove pulled out a 3-2 victory over No. 26 Bloomington South. Luke Embrey and Seth Jasek earned two-set victories at second and third singles for the sixth-ranked Trojans, while Glen Swaney and Bennett Strain picked up a point at second doubles.

Lancers get past Trinity

Edinburgh used a singles sweep to defeat Trinity Lutheran, 3-2, and give coach Pete Khensouri his 100th career victory. Max Blandford, Travis Jones and Chase Littlejohn were all winners for the Lancers.

Volleyball

Lancers beaten in four

Edinburgh lost to Columbus Christian 25-8, 25-21, 24-26, 25-23. Carly Cowan led the Lancers (5-14) with 13 kills and three aces, while Gracie Crawhorn tallied 10 kills, two blocks and 10 digs.

GCA drops Mustangs

Greenwood Christian won at Edgewood on Tuesday, 25-21, 17-25, 26-24, 25-23.

Roncalli falls to HSE

Second-ranked Hamilton Southeastern swept Roncalli 25-20, 25-11, 25-20. Emma Halter had 19 digs in defeat, while Sarah Lezon contributed five kills, four blocks and six digs.
