Edinburgh rallies for victory

Avynn Whitaker struck out 14 batters in a complete-game three-hitter and Edinburgh scored in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out a 3-2 victory over Morristown on Friday. Austin Brockman had three hits and scored twice for the Lancers, while Whitaker, Jared Myers and Milas Burkman each drove in a run.

Woodmen rough up Red Devils

Greenwood grabbed an early lead and didn’t let up in a 16-1 rout of Pike on Friday. Courtney Hankenhoff and Bella Blythe combined on a two-hitter for the Woodmen (9-4), striking out 10 between them. Hankenhoff also went 3 for 3 at the plate and matched teammate Lillian Disney with two RBIs each.

Lancers top Morristown again

Edinburgh scored nine second-inning runs and held on for a 12-7 win over Morristown. Eloise Cox was 3 for 3 to lead the Lancers (2-9, 2-3 Mid-Hoosier), while Lillie Goff drove in three runs.
