86, of Whiteland, IN passed away on January 2, 2022. She was born to William and Rhoda Burke in Long Fork Kentucky on March 20, 1935. Zella met the love of her life James E. Rose, Jr. and they spent 57wonderful years together until his passing in 2013. Zella was also a member of the Bargersville Church of Christ.
Zella is survived by her Daughters; Betty (Sam) Moore and Robin (Steven) Russell,Brother; Bill (Eva June) Burke, Sisters; EvieHiggins, JessieHiggins, MarieNecessary, and Irene (Jim) Minor and 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Zella is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son James Nelson Rose
A visitation will be held Monday, January 10, 2022 at Wilson St. Pierre, 481 W. Main St, Greenwood, IN 46142 from 10am to 12pm. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation.
