Nathan “Nate” Paul Childers

GREENWOOD

Our loving father, son, brother and uncle, Nathan Paul Childers also known as “Nate”, 40 went to his eternal home on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022, with his family by his side. He was born December 3rd, 1981, in Columbus, IN to his mother, Sandra Childers and his father, Ralph Childers. He graduated from Edinburgh Community High School, Class of 2000. Nathan was a Sales Manager at MyEyeDr for the last year. His employees loved his energy and enjoyed working for him. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with his children, family, and friends any chance he got. Whether it was fishing, cooking and chatting on Facebook live, sharing his love for Marvel or delivering excellent customer service, he had a contagious personality and a smile that was sure to win you over. He never met a stranger. He had a huge heart, and everyone felt special when around him. We know he is in Heaven creating a Marvel fan club alongside Stan Lee as well as sharing his amazing dance moves with happiness. Nathan is survived by his children, Kaelyn and Phoenix Childers, mother of his children and former spouse of 15 years, Jodi Childers, brothers Junior “Juice” (Erin) Smith, Timmy Smith and Aaron Childers and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Allen Smith and his grandparents Clifford and Mary Childers and H B and Mary Smiley. Nathan will be missed by so many as he made a difference in everyone’s lives that he encountered. There will be a showing held for Nathan on Monday, April 4th from 4-8pm at Who So Ever Will Community Church, 623 S Eisenhower Drive, Edinburgh, IN 46124.
