Grizzly Cubs sweep Falcons

Franklin opened its season Wednesday with a 5-0 sweep of Perry Meridian. Rylie Wilkison, Chelsie Rayl and Emma Williams claimed singles wins for the Grizzly Cubs, Haley Haldemen and Ailyn Hendricks were victorious at No. 1 singles and Emma Sappenfield and Kennedy Urban won at No. 2.

Warriors edged by Dragons

Whiteland suffered a 3-2 loss to New Palestine in its first match of the season. Candace Stephenson was a three-set winner at third singles for the Warriors, while Kailyn Sheridan and Brenna Atchison also went the distance to win at first doubles.
