Men’s basketball edges DePauw

Wrapping up a three-game road trip, Franklin College got 19 points and a late 3-pointer from Carter Crowe to knock off DePauw, 63-62, on Tuesday evening. Ryan Bostic chipped in with 10 points for the Grizzlies (1-2), who host Wilmington on Thursday in their home opener.

Trojans fall short in OT

Center Grove put forth an impressive effort at Class 4A No. 2 Hamilton Southeastern on Tuesday night before suffering a tight 55-52 overtime setback. Lilly Bischoff paced the Trojans (2-2) with 15 points, while Audrey Annee added 11.

Royals top Red Devils

Sydney Horton’s 17 points helped lead Roncalli to a 65-61 home win over Pike. Brennah Cerny and Sara Rosko each added 11 points for the Royals (3-1).
