NEW WHITELAND
Jeffrey L. Brown, 65, of New Whiteland, IN, passed away on March 15, 2023. He was born on November 2, 1957 in Franklin, IN; to Karl L. Brown and Normalee (DeWitt) Volz (deceased).
He was a member of The Point Church & Community. Jeff enjoyed basketball, specifically Franklin Grizzly Cubs and the Indiana Pacers. He further enjoyed playing the piano, bike riding, photography, and attending various musical concerts. He had his Master’s degree in Computer Science from Olivet
Nazarene University. He retired from One Bridge Tech, as a Sr. Computer Developer.
Jeff is survived by his sisters, Debbie Patterson, Carla Phipps; and his brother, Phillip Volz (Andre); Jeff also has nieces/nephews, Dennis Graham (Shari), Roger Graham (Angela), Brandon Finkelstein of Florida and Matthew (Kiersten) Phipps and Kaitlyn (Aniket) Shimpi of Indianapolis;
and great nieces/nephews, Nathan, Brianna, Marissa, Emily, Mackenzie and Jakob Graham of Florida and Finnegan and Elijah Phipps of Indianapolis.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March, 21, 2023 from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN. A funeral service will be provided immediately following the visitation at 2:30 pm conducted by Pastor Jim Spohn, of Greenwood, IN.
Jeff will be laid to rest at Mount Pleasant cemetery in Greenwood. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes/Liver Associations.
