Donald G. “Don” Miller, 85, Bloomington, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Greenwood Meadows.
He was born on Wednesday, March 16, 1938 to the late Guy and Mary Laverne (Pogue) Miller in Bloomington, Indiana.
Don was a 1956 graduate of Bloomington High School. After graduation, he entered the Air Force from 1957-1961. In 1962, Don married Janet Sue (Meadows) Miller who passed away May 2, 2020. Don worked at his father’s business, Campus Cabs, in Bloomington. In 1972, he graduated from Indiana University School of Business. Don then worked as a government accountant.
He was an avid IU sports fan. Don was a faithful follower and supporter of his granddaughters in their activities. He was also a member of Mount Pleasant Christian Church.
Surviving are his son, Don Miller and wife Teresa; granddaughters, Lyndsey Nagel and husband Kevin, Sydney Fink and husband Greg, Shelby Young and husband Lance; greatgrandchildren, Ryley, Gabe, Mya, Kaylee, Gracie, Ryker and Reagan; brother, David Miller and wife Cheryl; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet; parents, Guy and Mary.
A celebration of life will be 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church, 740 West County Line Road, Indianapolis, Indiana with visitation beginning at 3:30 p.m.
