Cougars edge Warriors, Braves

Greenwood Christian won a three-way match at The Legends on Monday, posting a team score of 184 to defeat Whiteland (186) and Indian Creek (205). Brayden Paterek was the medalist with a 40 for the Warriors, who also got a 46 from Will Smith.

Trojans soar past Falcons

Center Grove cruised to a 150-184 victory over Perry Meridian at Hickory Stick. Brady Schier shot a 36 for the Trojans, followed closely by Brody Holubar (37) and James Beetz (38). Nathan Springer and Coen Bauschek each finished with a 39.

Grizzly Cubs sweep Warriors

No. 8 Franklin remained unbeaten with a 5-0 victory over Whiteland on Monday, dropping just four games overall. The Grizzly Cubs got singles points from Rylie Wilkison, Chelsie Rayl and Emma Williams, while Marnie Moore and Ailyn Hendricks won at first doubles and Kate Pinnick and Kennedy Urban did the same in the No. 2 position.

Warriors cruise past Olympians

Whiteland posted a 25-6, 25-21, 25-17 home win over Columbus East on Monday. The Warriors improve to 10-2 on the season.

Riley Henson got the win in the pitching circle as Class 4A No. 2 Center Grove topped Bloomington South, 7-1, on Monday.
