Lancers nipped by Olympians
Edinburgh dropped a 2-1 pitchers’ duel at Columbus East on Tuesday. MacKenzie Bieker was the hard-luck loser for the Lancers (0-2), striking out eight while allowing just four hits and one earned run over six innings. Bieker also had two of Edinburgh’s four hits and knocked in Kyah Streeval for the team’s lone run.
