FRANKLIN, INDIANA
Patricia Jo Mitchell (Fergason) passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Patty was the daughter of Frances Miller (Witt) and Richard Fergason. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Steve Mitchell, who passed away in December of 2021. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Ricky Fergason, Rex Fergason and Randy Fergason, and her sister Paula Ramey (Fergason). She is survived by her 3 sons, Brent Mitchell, Shane Mitchell and Jason Mitchell and their wives Damary, Isabelle and Rachel: along with 13 grandchildren, Eleni, Emma, Evan, Caroline, Caleb, Ella, Chloe, Lilly, Lily, Luke, Nate, Luke, and Lilly. Patty is also survived by her sisters Holly Pease and Kelly Ferry. Patty was born in Franklin, Indiana on August 2, 1946, and graduated from Franklin High School in 1964. Patty worked in various municipal jobs throughout her lifetime, with the City of Franklin, Johnson County, and the State of Indiana.
A celebration of life will be held for Steve and Patty Mitchell on May 10, 2024 from 4:30pm to 8:00pm at the American Legion in Franklin, Indiana.
