Joseph Wolfley

Joseph “Joe” Wolfley, 31, of Nineveh, passed away on December 24, 2021. He was born on September 18, 1990 in Indianapolis, IN.

Joe played soccer for the Center Grove High School Varsity Soccer team. He played for South Central Select Travel, Saint Francis Alliance Travel, and the Cutters Soccer Club in Bloomington, IN. Joe also coached soccer.

He loved playing guitar, taking lessons since age 10, and also loved to fish.

Joe had a heart larger than life! He was vivacious, gregarious, and a prankster! He never met a rule that he wouldn’t break, and never met a stranger for which he wouldn’t pray. Joe was an amazing father to his stepson.

Joe is survived by his wife, Kayla; step son, Myka Brosius; unborn son due in April, Kingston James; parents, Jim and Debbie Wolfley; father in law, Jim Kunstek; step mother in law, Sharon Kunstek; mother in law, Diana Dobbs; grandmother, Lorraine Wolfley; sister, Annie (Nathan) Aker; brother, Taylor (Nikki) Wolfley; brother in law, Brian Kunstek; sister in law, Jamie Sprong; nieces and nephews, Bradley, Brooklynn, Kevin, and Kylee Wolfley; and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Wolfley; and grandparents, Herman and Mildred Taylor.

Visitation will be held on Friday 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN. A Catholic Funeral Rite will be conducted at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
